The Bricks this year, took place at Sushi Samba in London, on Wednesday 17th October. Hosted by writer, broadcaster, former MP and one of Britain’s most sought-after award ceremony hosts, Gyles Brandreth.
The awards ceremony started and we were thrilled when Gyles declared Heritage Homes the winners of Development of the Year (11-50 Units) South for The Chasse Phase II!

These awards recognise companies and individuals who stand out from the rest and go the extra mile, regardless of size, to deliver quality in construction. With over 3000 eligible developments at the start of the nomination process the finalists are then shortlisted to attend The Bricks.
This year, they took place in one of London’s iconic buildings, The Shard on Thursday 19th October, hosted by Britain’s best comedy impressionist, Jon Culshaw and for the third time in the last four years, local Westcountry Builders, Heritage Homes were thrilled to win ‘Development of the year (11-50 units) for their site in Topsham, The Chasse.
The judges were bowled over with the development and upon announcing the winner stated "this developer is no stranger when it comes to a well-executed build from start to finish. They have shown very good site practices and standards throughout, you simply can’t get better than this."

To win a development award at The Bricks highlights the exceptional standard of craftsmanship that goes into producing superior homes.

The Bricks event took place this year at One Embankment, in Central London and was hosted by TV star Alexander Armstrong. The event celebrates and rewards exceptional work of developers and contractors who go the extra mile regardless of size, to deliver quality in construction and design.

The awards ceremony itself was superb, such a glamorous affair, with Heston Blumenthal inspired canapes to kick things off followed by a fabulous dinner party. The winning candidates are judged on technical innovation, sustainability, high performance and above all building excellence. Despite strong competition in their category of ‘Best High Volume New Housing Development’ from several large regional and national developers we were crowned the winners for our Holland Park site. This is the third award that this highly acclaimed development has won in the past nine months.
The second award of the night was for the highly prestigious LABC Warranty 'Regional Site Manager Award’. This highly coveted award recognises and rewards site managers who achieve excellence in construction, and in doing so, demonstrate exceptional site management and workmanship.
The recognition associated with this award represents success not just for the site manager, but also for their construction team.
Tony Anderson from Heritage Homes was representing his site at Holland Park and we are delighted to announce that he was the Regional Winner.

Heritage Homes are thrilled to have won the coveted ‘Residential Project of the Year’ Award for its development Holland Park in Exeter.
